Planned to see Tarbert major attractions and it was fantastic base for visiting all of them. The hotel was in a magnificent location just next door to Kennacraig ferry port, and fantastic wildlife.

It's decent base for sightseeing and exploring Tarbert. Every visit to Tarbert we like to stay here.

Truly enjoyed our 1 night here. Had a fab experience staying at the twin/double room. A hairdryer, a walk-in shower, and bath sheets were available there. Had great location in stunning scenery with fantastic wildlife al around. Moreover, it's close to the bay, the ferries for Gigha and the ferry terminal.

The hip new hotel was lovely. The venue was situated in the remote location to the loch. Moreover, it was short walk to the ferries to Gigha and Islay, fantastic wildlife al around and a quiet area.

Great stay in a peaceful location. Unexpected touches like milk, water, cheeses, fruit, hot drinks. Very clean, with en-suite bathrooms. Layout of the lodge was lovely. Highly recommend!

Lovely house and location, so perfect for coming off the ferry. super handy for the cute fishing village. Very comfortable night's sleep.

Deck was great but midges prevented us from enjoying it. Points off for providing bottled water in plastic bottles instead of tap water.

We had a lovely stay at Achnacolain Lodge and were impressed by the beautiful views and tasteful decor. The lodge was very clean and well-appointed, with comfortable furnishings and a peaceful atmosphere. The owners were friendly and helpful, even lending us a mobile phone when we had no coverage. There were thoughtful touches like fresh fruit, biscuits, and milk in the fridge. We enjoyed the privacy of having our own en suite bedroom and access to a communal kitchen/lounge. I highly recommend this lodge for a relaxing and comfortable stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this clean and well-appointed property. The beautiful views were an added bonus. It was conveniently located just 5 minutes away from the ferry terminal and a local restaurant. The hosts were lovely and warm individuals who made us feel very welcomed. Everything we needed for our stay was provided, and we regret not staying longer. Highly recommended!
